Purchasing my First Makeup Brush Sets – Shopping Paris Presents Real Techniques brushes from Real techniques.com, Flipkart.com and Amazon.in

“The brush is an extension of the hand and is a fundamental tool for a Makeup artist, and whether he is a professional or an amateur, his canvas is the face and/or the body” – Dany Sanz

Now, when makeup is intriguing me, I feel the necessity of possessing good quality makeup brushes. I firmly believe that good quality makeup brushes can add a fascinating dimension to your makeup application. However, it is tad bit hard to find good quality makeup brushes in India. I am nowhere trying to demean Indian companies that produce good quality brushes. I being inadequate to find good quality brushes in India tried my hands on Paris Presents Real Techniques brushes.

“Real Techniques” - this name is very familiar to all makeup lovers globally. The Real Techniques brushes are synthetic Taklon (is a type of synthetic fiber) made brushes, cruelty-free and no animals were harmed during production of these brushes. FYI, Makeup brushes are generally of 2 types: -
  • Natural Bristle Brushes and
  • Synthetic Bristle Brushes.

Samantha Chapman with her sister Nicola Haste associated with Paris Presents to develop Real Techniques brushes under the brand name “Paris Presents Real Techniques brushes”. Pixiwoo, PixiwooMadness and Real Techniques are the YouTube channels by Samantha and Nicola. Synthetic Bristle Brushes, that are made using high quality synthetic fibers are generally on the expensive side than the low synthetic fiber brushes. Although the Real Techniques brushes are considered to be Drugstore brushes but quality-wise they are worth to fit in any Makeup lover brush collection. Price of these are moderate and are available in India market as well.

My Experience on buying Paris Presents Real Techniques brushes:

I bought my Real Techniques brush sets from https://realtechniques.comI bought them on sale from their original website on 50% discount. This being my first purchase of makeup brushes, I wanted to make sure of the authenticity and to my surprise there was a sale running on their website. However, not all products were on sale but few sets/collection were covered under this 50% discount offer. This discount was given for a reason; they were clearing out their old stocks as they are introducing new packaging. Not only have they modified their packaging but also they have made few changes in the brushes to fit in their new sets/collection and renamed them. Whatever, the case may be when I got 50% discount that eventually let me waive off almost 80% of the shipping charges, I could not resist myself to get my hands on them.
I also bought Real Techniques Blush brush from Flipkart and Real Techniques Expert Face brush from Amazon.

  • Buying from realtechniques.com
Shopping from international sites is not what I am extremely accustomed with. I had apprehensions before taking the plunge of buying things from this website, what if my products never get deliver? Who am I going to complain in case of any issue? What if they do not refund my money in case of delivery failure? Is using my credit card safe? However, I can say that I am happy that I took this risk of buying Real Techniques brushes from their original site, their site is 100 % authentic. Please take a look at the picture of the sets ordered from realtechniques.com:

Now, I am going to write some question that I had in my mind before buying and answer them myself, I at least possess some experience now!

Q - Do I need a Credit Card for shopping from this site?
Ans – Yes.

Q – Will I need to open an account with the site?
Ans – I opened an account, ordered my stuffs. However, on subsequent log in I was unable to access my account. I contacted their customer support and then got a mail stating that only U.S customers could avail the facility of accessing the account at that time. Therefore, I could not avail the facility of tracking my parcel via logging in ‘My Account’. I hope this gets resolved asap.

Q – What charges will I have to pay for Shipping?
Ans - You need to pay for Taxes, Duty and Shipping which varies depending upon the amount of your purchase. The Shipping cost is generally estimated keeping in mind the weight and destination of the package. Here is my attachment:

Q – Do I need to pay custom for getting my products?
Ans – NO. You need not pay customs as you pay the duty beforehand with this site. They ship via i-parcel DDP (Delivered Duties Paid) and pay on behalf of you to Indian Custom Authorities.

Q – Is there any formality that needs to be undertaken for receiving my products from DTDC ?
Ans – You need to upload a KYC on DTDC website. You will get a call from DTDC executive requesting to upload your KYC after your product is shipped and handed over to courier partner. Your product will be streamed towards delivery after 5 working days from the date of upload of KYC.

Q – How long will it take to deliver my brushes?
Ans – I placed my order on Feb 26 and got them around March 25 in Kolkata (I am really sorry I totally forgot to keep in records of my exact delivery date). That suggests that at least a month you need to wait if you are ordering from realtechniques.com to India. However, I believe, you may get the delivery within shorter time span, depending on which part of India you reside.

Q – Is their customer support responsive?
Ans – Let me tell you they follow CST (Central Standard Time) which means they are almost 10 hours and 30 minutes behind IST (Indian Standard Time). They respond to mail only after 4.30 CST. Now, to answer the question, yes they are responsive. I would not say they are extremely responsive to meet your queries but they answered to my mail after 1 -1 ½ days. You can even contact them on their social media pages.

Q – Which country manufactured is mentioned on the package?
Ans – “Made in China”. This is a part that disappointed me as I expected them to be “Made in U.S.A” brushes. (Do you possess Real Technique Brushes? If yes, then please let me know if they too bear the ‘Made in China’ tag!).

In case, you have any other query please let me know in the comment section below. I will try my level best to answer them. I would also suggest you to go through the Shipping & Return details on realtechniques.com.

Packaging :
It came in a pink and white Singlewall cardboard box (that meets all the construction requirements of applicable freight classification). You can see “Real Techniques by Sam & Nic” written on one side of the box. On the front you get to see details about your shipment. On opening you find a welcome card from the company (these gestures makes me happy! Do you feel the same?). Then you find a statement of the items purchased, finally you find your brushes wrapped in a paper. Now I ordered 2 sets:
  • Sculpting Set, and
  • Starter Set
Packaging of the Sculpting Set is absolutely perfect whereas the package of the Starter Set is tampered from one side. That disappointed me a little however that is acceptable as my products were not damaged.

I got 2015 batch products and the font styles are different in this batch products. Please refer to the pictures below:

About the Brushes:
The Brushes are really soft but I have not used them yet, thus failing to state about the performance of these brushes. I am also unable to give any light on their usage, shedding and cleaning part. I will definitely to do a review about all the above mentioned stuffs once I use them.

  • Buying from Flipkart.com:

To tell the truth earlier I have used only Vega brushes (they are good, does the job). However, I wanted to try the single brushes from Real Techniques as tones of people say that the single brushes are extremely good. So this time I thought of ordering from Flipkart as they were offering it on extremely low prices. However, as I went through the reviews on Flipkart, many customers claim the brush to be a fake one. I ignored all those negative comments and took a chance. I received my brush within 6 days. I ordered Real Techniques Rlt-1407 (blush brush) on March 17 and received it by March 22 from Kunchals Store Pvt.Ltd for Rs.382. The Real Techniques Rlt-1407 (blush brush) came in plastic package with the brush covered in bubble wrap. What I discovered is that it is a 2014 batch product, so the fonts on the brush are different from the ones ordered from realtechniques.com. Please refer to the picture:

After going through various comparison and comparing them with the ones I got from realtechniques.com they appear genuine (P.S. - I am not claiming their authenticity!).

  • Buying from Amazon.in:

After Flipkart sent me the Real Techniques brush, which appears to be a genuine but old batch product. I gathered more courage and ordered Real Techniques Expert Face Brush from Amazon.in. My seller from this store was Real Techniques, although the invoice I got, is a hand written one and belongs to ‘Shivarambh Traders’, New Delhi. A statement containing product`s authenticity and reminder restraining resale of that particular product, accompanied the invoice.  I placed an order on March 26 and got delivered by March 31 for Rs.495. This product is also from 2014 batch and have the same font as the Blush Brush ordered from Flipkart.com. This brush too appears genuine but an old batch product. Please refer to the picture:

So that is my experience on buying the Real Techniques brushes from different national and international sites. Hope this article is useful to you. Happy Reading!

Disclaimer: I am no way claiming that the brushes I got are 100% authentic. I am yet to discover their authenticity. If you can help me with figuring out their authenticity, you are welcome! Please do not use my images anywhere online or offline without taking my permission.

The Body Shop Superfood Face Masks – Is it feasible to buy them?

Hello Friends!🙏

Happy Women`s Day lovely ladies! So to start with I am writing this blog after quite long time (a month, may be) …. Reason? Blogging is just an interest and I really don`t want to miss my studies for this. Now c`mon how can 1 post a week hampers my studies? To that, I would say “I am lazy”. Another thing, I would like to add that my immune system has become lazy too, I’m falling ill frequently now-a-days😓.

Today I went to Acropolis Mall, Yay! I enjoy going there recently, just to hangout. However, today I got greeted with a beautiful rose, that`s because today is International Women`s Day. The lady (who usually checks the bags) greeted me with a rose, and a man clicked a picture of that incident. That picture was one of the featured picture in their social media page, so double Yay! I am happy. Must say, the Acropolis Management knows how to draw traffic (only next time, please shred off the thorns😄 of the flowers).

Recently, people are eulogizing about “The Body Shop Superfood Face Masks”. I find people from all over the world are talking wildly about the goodness of these masks. I came across tons of good reviews on YouTube as well as on various blog posts. The features of these Superfood Face Masks are:

  • All of these, Superfood Face Masks are 100% “Vegetarian”,
  • Three of these masks are 100% Vegan,
  • They all have decent smell (I personally haven`t tried any),
  • These masks are made of choosiest ingredients from all over the world, and
  • Last but not the least, they work wonders for skin.
There are 5 varieties available in this skincare range, as follows:
  1. British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask (100% Vegan),
  2. Ethiopian Honey Deep Nourishing Mask,
  3. Amazonian Acai Energizing Radiance MASK (100% Vegan),
  4. Chinese Ginseng and Rice Clarifying Polishing Mask, and
  5. Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask (100% Vegan).

Today, I went to “The Body Shop” showroom at Acropolis, just to take a glance of these Superfood Face Masks. How can I miss the chance when I was there? The masks are beautifully exhibited at the entrance of their showroom. Each main ingredient (such as Charcoal representing the main ingredient in Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask) is placed beside their respective Mask jar. These masks come in a small glass jars with 75 ml of product in each variant.

Until this, everything was fine for me. Nevertheless, no sooner I turned the displayed jar to search for the price. My goodness! Each of them priced at ₹ 2,495. The price of each of these masks is steep! I cannot afford a mask at this price range. Moreover, is it feasible to get a face mask for ₹ 2,495? I really don`t know. I mean, I completely agree that they might work really good for skin but then my question is for how long? Will a jar suffice to change my facial skin totally? Will I get a rejuvenated, hydrated, moisturized, and clean face after finishing up a jar?

Another notable point is these masks works best through multi-masking. To the extent, I know each part of your face is different so each part needs specific treatment. As for my combination skin, I need Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask for my T-zone and the British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask for my cheeks. That means I need to spend ₹ 3990 for my skin. Again, Chinese Ginseng and Rice Clarifying Polishing Mask is suitable for oily skin and can be used as a skin protector mask for soothing, toning, revitalizing together with to reduce the dullness and even the skin tone. To that I can only say a big “Sorry”. I don’t have enough money for these multi-masking mask to spend out-of-my-pocket.

When it comes to face masks, I completely rely on my kitchen ingredients and they never disappointed me. They are 100% natural, 100% vegetarian and vegan too. My mask has done a good job for my skin till date. One can find various natural masks that works wonders if applied properly according to skin type. I am aware of the fact that; some dermatologists oppose the idea of applying different products from your kitchen from time to time. However, I believe if you follow one particular mix of ingredients as a mask that suits your skin, that will may not do massive harm to your skin.

I am by no means disagreeing with the fact that, The Body Shop products are genuinely good and I completely adore them (the ones I have used). However, the price factor for these masks really put me to think is it feasible to get these masks? I just wish someone ever gift me at least one of them.

Lastly, do tell me if you are purchasing them and how do they work on your skin?  Who knows someday I may be rich (in terms of money, only) enough to get my hands on them😀.

NaturStudio All-Day-Wear Kohl Kajal [Product Review]

Hello Friends!🙏

Any make-up is inadequate without defining your eyes. Whether you are applying coats of products or just going for a no make-up look, applying a stroke of Kajal includes an enchantment. Few days back, I read an article about perusing someone`s mind through their eyes. Thus, enhancing your eyes is important when you are socializing, because you might be unaware if someone is attempting to peruse your mind through your eyes. If you are a newbie in the make-up world or a pro, then you would not deny the importance and versatile uses of a Kajal.

NaturStudio All-Day-Wear Kohl Kajal is manufactured by Schwan-STABILO Cosmetics, Germany. In India, Imported and Marketed by Pureplay Skin Sciences (I) Pvt.Ltd. Now-a-days, you get tones of Kajal available at drugstore brands as well as high end brands. This makes the situation tricky as to which Kajal should you go for. I too had these kinds of dilemmas circling in my head before picking up this Kajal. However, if you are looking for a Budget-friendly Kajal that gives you high end brand quality and look, you should check out NaturStudio All-Day-Wear Kohl Kajal once.

What the Kajal claims:
  • Soft, creamy, gel-based single-swipe darkest black,
  • 100% smudge-proof and water-proof,
  • Brilliant black that looks "just applied" even after 12 hours,
  • Preservative-free, paraben-free, mineral oil-free, paraffin-free,
  • Dermatologically and ophthalmologically tested & approved,
  • Rich in Vitamin E for care and protection,
  • 100% vegan formula, not tested on animals.

Ingredients:
  • Hydrogenated Castor Oil
  • Rice Bran Wax
  • Natural Vitamin E

Price: ₹ 475 for 1.2g NaturStudio All-Day-Wear Kohl Kajal pencil.  I would not say that the price bracket is cheap for this product. However, it works like a high end Kajal pencil and you get value for money.

Packaging:
The NaturStudio All-Day-Wear Kohl Kajal is packed in a Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) free plastic barrel. That is what makes the Kajal a bit harder to sharp. You can however get a Flip-Tip sharpener and Kajal combo pack for ₹499 or can go for the solo sharpener for ₹150.

Note: The company advises not to use stationery or loose-fitting sharpeners for sharpening the NaturStudio All-Day-Wear Kohl Kajal, as it may damage the Kajal. However, any high quality cosmetic sharpener can be used.

My take on NaturStudio All-Day-Wear Kohl Kajal:

Pros:👍
  •  This NaturStudio All-Day-Wear Kohl Kajal is soft as well as creamy that makes the application easier,
  •  Dark Black color with just one stroke,
  •  It did not irritate my eyes post application on my waterline,
  •  Stayed for 8 hours without any smudge, although, I did not wear it for 12 hours, and
  • Can be used on waterline and as an eyeliner.
One-Stroke Color Pay-off

Cons:👎

The only con I discovered is that this product being waterproof is bit difficult to remove from eyes.

However, my piece of advice that I would like to give is, if you are planning to buy this NaturStudio All-Day-Wear Kohl Kajal, it is better to buy from their official website. This is because when you sign up with the official plum goodness website and buy a product from there, plum rewards are automatically added in your account. The plum rewards that are credited on to your account are redeemable on subsequent purchases. However, the most important factor is that you get a genuine product.

Product Rating - 90/100

Q - Will I Repurchase?
Ans - Yes, would definitely repurchase.

Relentless Posting of Marriage Pictures on Social Media and My Personalize Views on Them

Hello Friends!🙏

I am an impassioned adherent of the quote “Marriages are made in heaven and celebrated on earth”. Each marriage is exceptional for the couple who are performing it as well as for their loved ones. It is indeed a joyous and extremely propitious for each family on the either side. Most people want to capture exquisite pictures for treasuring this noteworthy event. From pre-marriage photo shoots to week after marriage pictures and even for honeymoon photos, people are generous on spending cash. Photographers, whether professional or freelancers are on exorbitant demand throughout the wedding season.

Nonetheless, it is justifiable that everybody yearns to share cherished pictures of their respective marriage journeys on their social media walls. Nevertheless, continuously posting of marriage pictures every now and then is oh-so-irritating!

My Never-ending apprehensions
To be very honest, I am truly getting vexed for past 2-3 years with the landing of Shaadi Season (Marriage Season). My friends are getting hitched as though there is an enormous deal going on Marriages (though I immovably believe that is their personal decision and I fully respect that). Nevertheless, it makes me think if it is okay that I am by no means prepared for marriage in near future years? There is kind of vague fear whenever I access my social media account for whom am I today going to see got married last day? Though, every time I find someone (it can be that girl/guy who was either a recognizable face or just an acquaintance in my school or college) got hitched or is going to get hitched.

The Oh-so-long Online Album!
The long online marriage album is too much time as well as internet data. I mean 101 pictures , 25 videos, 30 Boomerangs, faking tears through Snapchat (it reminds me of Nobita😭) in a solitary wedding album, to which I am not even invited is way toooooooo boring. Putting up pictures with their mama-mami (maternal uncle and aunt), bhaiya-bhabhi (brother and sister-in-law), chacha-chachi (paternal uncle and aunty), phupha-phupi (paternal aunt and uncle) and the never-ending arrangement of relatives is not heading to intrigue me by any means. I do not find any hotchpotch in those smirks even!

TMI!
I understand that you are in all lovey-dovey mood and you are officially permitted for PDA. All things considered, a progression of your PDA pictures does not intrigue us. All these are TMI for us!

The selfie trend: -
Talking selfies are in rage presently and some people have lost all their minds on this. However, a few number of marriage selfies are tolerable but finding 23 selfies clicked by the bride herself😓…………. please forgive us for all our unknown sin.

Too Mean Thing!
I just love Shaadi ka khana (marriage party food)! Such amazing assortment of items you see. But posting those pictures with plate loaded with mouthwatering foods and making me hungry is such a deplorable pain! Be prepared to get stomach upset the following day😷.

Please, please, please!
If you are not yet exhaustipated by viewing the long-listed wedding snaps then surprise! there is more to come in your way consistently throughout the year or even for the next couple of years. You get observe how well the bride applied winged liner on her eyes or how delightfully her hair was styled, her side countenances, exactly how she grinned that too in an assortment of filters. All I can say, I concur you looked beautiful on your D-day and those pictures may be very close to your heart but please abandon me now!

It`s his/her time now -
Another thing that I noticed if one is putting up their recent marriage pictures another friend who got married last month or 2-3 months prior also puts up his/her marriage pictures again. I comprehend that might be one`s marriage pictures are making you think about your own marriage, yet please let us make the most of hers after all it is her time now.

I however adore all my friends and congratulate all who got or are going to get hitched. Nevertheless, over exaggeration of marriage pictures are just annoying at times. Lastly, it is your social media account – do whatever you want!

THE BODY SHOP – SHEA BODY BUTTER [PRODUCT REVIEW]

HELLO FRIENDS!🙏

Today in my second blog, I am going to review a body butter from the brand “The Body Shop”. For an obscure reason my skin has turned out to be incredibly dry this winter😞, which is the reason I purchased or spent a considerable amount of cash on saturating my body. Even though I altogether accuse my growing up for a wide range of issues in my body. I truly abhor, despised and will always be loathing growing up😑 and I trust there are many of you like me out there.

Now, the brand “The Body Shop” is a British skin care organization formed in the year 1976 (i.e., virtually 41 years old). This company is now a subsidiary of the famous French cosmetics brand L'Oréal trailing the trade takeover in the year 2006. The Body shop offers extended products for hair, face and body. This brand asserts that their items are against remorselessness on creatures and are enlivened by nature. You can read more details about the brand here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Body_Shop

I was in search for a good body moisturizer with the landing of winter for the conspicuous reason relating to my skin getting constantly drier. Then I came across the Fabindia body milk – mogra and mint about which I mentioned in my earlier blog. Please read the details here: http://mypersonalizeviews.blogspot.in/2017/01/fabindia-body-milk-mogra-and-mint.html

The day I bought the Fabindia body milk that day I went to meet with my sweetest friend Molu (her good name is Sneha yet I adore calling her Molu and she has been my childhood best friend, have always encouraged me! I 💗 you Molu…. I keep telling her this because I really do. We caught up after our exams just to chill that day). We were just lingering in Acropolis mall and we chose to visit The Body Shop showroom in that very mall. Presently, Molu too is having an uncommon dry skin issue and she is the person who got inspired by the body spreads accessible at The Body Shop showroom. So, after the Fabindia body milk neglected to saturate my body for extended periods of time, I chose to spend some additional money and to go for The Body Shop body butters after reading some good reviews on The Body Shop body butters online.

Days later I went to the same The Body Shop India showroom and told the individual who was then demonstrating to me their items that I required a decent body spread for my skin. At that point that individual proposed that I may go for the Shea body butter, which is one of their top of the line body butter, but me being very me went on and urged him to demonstrate to me their different variations of body butter. Therefore, he showed me their coco body butter and the hemp (one thing I would like to mention I did not like that person😠, I observed him to be impolite and he was acting to be extremely occupied yet all he was doing was grabbing occasionally scattered things, although I truly preferred the woman there). As indicated by that person, the cocoa body butter is not as moisturizing as Shea butter one, but rather that is likewise a decent one and the hemp, which smells awful (I did not like the smell by any stretch of the imagination!) is the most hydrating one. Finally, I decided to grab the Shea body butter.

Shea body butter of The Body Shop India is awesome and I can tell this after using for 3 weeks now. I simply love this body butter. What you get is a light peach color container stuffed body butter containing 200ml/6.75 OZ/ 192 gm of Shea body butter, with a The Body Shop sticker onto it (pardon me! I am awful at depicting hues). Inside the container, you can see smooth white thick body butter emitting a nutty scent.

The Body Shop Shea Body Butter

Packaging/Bundling – thick container packed, I came across many individuals stating that it would have been exceptional if it had a tube bundling. I personally preferred the bundling although I will not contradict that a tube bundling would not be better. In any case, the consistency of the item being thick and buttery texture, I think I am upbeat the way it got bundled.

The Body Shop Shea Body Butter (weight)

Product – I adore it! It is exceptionally hydrating. It sorts of finished my look for a decent body cream. Consistency wise it is very thick. The retailer told me that it gives you 24-hour hydration (likewise mentioned on one side of the container) to which I can say partially Yes! Partially because if you are being continuously out of your home, you may wish to reapply it after 12-14 hours. On the very first day, I applied it after bathing on my body and I did not feel the need of applying till I came out of the shower the following day. As I mentioned in my earlier blog, my knuckles are super dry, I reapply onto them 2-3 times a day. It is immaculate to apply it after taking shower or before going to bed. The Shea fragrance lingers on my body for decent hours and the joyful part, this product is not giving me any sort of rashes post application😍. It has a shelf life of 28 months.

The Body Shop Shea Body Butter - 24 hrs Hydration

The Body Shop Shea Body Butter - Buttery texture

Pricing – now here comes the most crucial part. It retails for Rs.1095 for 200 ml product, which is expensive! The pocket pinch for this body butter is on the higher side yet all I can say it is an incentive for money and you get The Body Shop India branding. When I visited their showroom, there was an up to 50% sale going on some selected items, but this body butter was excluded from the offer😞. Although, if you possess a membership card of The Body Shop India you get a 10% discount on this item. New enrollment, however will cost you Rs.500 that accompanies included advantages, which you can avail throughout the year in all The Body Shop showrooms.

The Body Shop Shea Body Butter - Pricing

You can consider buying The Body Shop Shea Body Butter, if👍:

  • ·         You require an additional hydrating item to saturate your body in winters,
  • ·         You are partial to the delicious nutty fragrance,
  • ·         You do not fret your pocket pinch,
  • ·         You are thinking to give body butters a try, and
  • ·         You trust and love The Body Shop products.

You can buy them online here:

I did not discover anything terrible pertaining to this product except the price, which is a bit on the higher side, nevertheless though you get value for money. However, this being ultra moisturizing is not ideal for summer.

Product Rating – 95/100 💖(I deducted 5 wondering if this can nourish my skin this well then how nourishing the Hemp would be)

Q – Will I repurchase?
Ans – Definitely😃! It is a treat for my very dry skin.

P.S - Please share your thoughts....Keep Smiling 😊!

FABINDIA BODY MILK - MOGRA AND MINT

Hello friends!🙏🏻

This is the very first time I penning down my musings through blog so yes, I am truly apprehensive😶! My humble request to all my readers please feel free to come out with any suggestions or opinions that’s in your mind😃.

In this blog, I will be doing a product review that I did not find while googling so I thought why not to start with this very product. I generally do a lot of googling before buying any product (as I have to spend my pocket money for buying these stuffs!) yet for this one I googled after I came home with it, however could not find any such reviews on this product😫.

Today I am going to write down my thoughts about a “Fabindia body milk – mogra and mint”.
It comes in a 200ml pump packaged bottle and retails for Rs.395 (inclusive of all taxes), accessible for mostly all or at all Fabindia showrooms. Presently when its winter, my skin gets truly dry and my knuckles gets super dry (might be on account of I have a propensity for utilizing hand wash intermittently). I am quite an active buyer of Fabindia clothing but this time I thought giving their other products a try, so I got this body milk. This body milk has a gooey consistency and stays for 1.5-2 hours on my hands after which one needs to reapply! (that is how I feel) ….to be very honest I expected/anticipated it to stay more than the above-mentioned hours after all it’s a “body milk”😟.
Gooey or liquid consistency

One fortunate thing about Fabindia products are that they claim their products does not contain any parabens or sulphates (despite the fact that the retailer told me that their products contains 1% paraben needed to give it a shelf life…. which I appreciate, at least he is honest that way!👍). The ingredients listed on the product are: -
  • ·          PURIFIED WATER,
  • ·          CAPRIC CAPRYLIC TRIGLYCERIDE,
  • ·          GLYCERINE,
  • ·          COCO CAPRYLATE,
  • ·          GLYCERYL MONO STEARATE,
  • ·          CYCLOMETHICONE,
  • ·          CETOSTEARYL,
  • ·          ALCOHOL,
  • ·          PROPANEDIOL,
  • ·          GLYCERYL CAPRYLATE (AND) GLYCERYL UNDECYLENATE,
  • ·          SODIUM HYALURONATE,
  • ·          DIHEPTYL SUCCINATE (AND) CAPRYLOYL GLYCERIN,
  • ·          POTASSIUM SORBATE,
  • ·          SODIUM BENZOATE,
  • ·          SODIUM STEAROYL GLUTAMATE,
  • ·          VITAMIN E,
  • ·          SODIUM GLUCONATE,
  • ·          GUM XANTHAN,
  • ·          FRAGRANCE, and
  • ·          PEPPERMINT OIL.

·

Shelf life: 36 months from date of manufacture.

Again, one thing that I would like to mention that my hands are like super sensitive and I am prone to get rashes effortlessly but honestly after using this body milk I did not get any rashes which is aaaaaamaazing😍!

Fragrance: coming to the fragrance, this body milk cases to be a “mogra and mint” fragrant but the main smell that I get out pf this is of mogra which is again extremely solid. I think mogra being a strong fragrant have covered the smell of mint by all terms. But again, the smell lingers on your body for a good 1 hour.

So, subsequent to utilizing it for over a month now I can suggest you can go for it if: -👍
·         You don’t have an exceptionally dry skin,
·         You like the smell of mogra,
·         You cherish Fabindia items!
·         If your skin is just like mine (I did not face any rash issues…so I hope you won`t get them too)

But you should not go for it (in my opinion) if: -👎
·         You have a dry or super dry skin in winter,
·         You don’t like strong smell or not enamored with mogra fragrant.
Lastly, I don’t know for some unknown reason they did not had a tester for this body milk and I had to buy it on my good faith!

Product Rating – 50/100

Q- Will I repurchase?
My Ans: NO. I would definitely like to try out fabindia`s other variants of body milk.
